Transport yourself back in time to a grim world of horror, death and villainy when you visit the York Dungeons. This gruesome family attraction is packed full of live actors, shows and interactive special effects for your horror and enjoyment.

All displays are based on real events of York's shady past. The Labyrinth of the Lost Roman Legion, the tale of Dick Turpin, murder, plague, disease; everything you really don't want to associate yourself with.

The Dungeons say that their attractions are not suitable for youngsters or those of a nervous disposition so we advise you don't take very young or sensitive children with you. Do, however, bring your teenagers along for a day out - who knows, they might be quiet for once!
