Octopus' Garden at Thorpe Park

This area is best suited for the very young visitors to Thorpe Park, featuring a small ferris wheel, and a number of carousel type rides just for children. Some of the attractions are so small the adults won't be able to fit - but you can always watch the kids having a great time!

All rides in this section have a maximum height restriction of 1.3m.

Attractions in Octopus' Garden

Fantasy Fish

A carousel type ride with fish for children to sit on instead of the traditional horses.

Galleon Race

A mini waltzer, with boat shaped cars bobbing up and down as they rotate.

Slippery Serpent

A small track based ride, taking you on a mini tour of the Octopus' Garden.

Happy Halibuts

Another carousel ride, but this one swings as it spins. This is the only ride in the area to have a minimum height restriction, which is 0.9m.

Ollie Octopus

A carousel ride that lifts at an angle.

Swinging Seashells

A small ferris wheel with carriages each seating four children.

Up Periscope

A carousel ride with submarine themed cars for the kids to sit in.

Food, Drink, and Shops in Octopus' Garden

Donuts - Tasty donuts are the only food available in this small park area.
