If you think you have what it takes to face the most extreme rollercoasters and thrill rides in the country, then take your family to THORPE PARK. Home to some of the UK's most thrilling rides, a short break to THORPE PARK is the ideal family treat for all those looking for a little bit of adventure.

Home of the Unholy Trinity of Rollercoasters, THORPE PARK is the perfect theme park for older kids and adrenaline junkies. If white-knuckle rides and extreme G forces are your thing, then look no further! Experience the thrill of being catapulted from 0-80mph in two seconds on Stealth, get flung every which way on The Slammer and suffer a right soaking on Tidal Wave, the biggest log flume in the UK.

If you know a thing or two about rollercoasters, then we're sure you'll be aware that the most thrilling rides in the country are at THORPE PARK. Not really suitable for anyone of a nervous disposition, the rides here are designed to test your mettle. What's more, 2009 saw the arrival of the all new SAW: The Ride which features a 100 degree drop. Certainly not for the faint of heart, the spine-tingling SAW - Alive Maze extended the franchise in 2010. With jumps, shocks and gruesome surprises around every corner, it's a must-see experience for thrill-seekers!

If you're planning to bring younger children to the park, there is still plenty for them to see and do. Because THORPE PARK is aimed specifically at older kids and teens though, we advise that you take a look at LEGOLAND Windsor or Chessington World of Adventures, which are both just a short drive away.

THE SWARM IS COMING!

When the apocalypse comes...will you survive?

The end is nigh and you're right in the heart of the war-zone, dragged on the wings of THE SWARM, Europe's tallest winged rollercoaster. Plummet through the smouldering wasteland enduring a blood-curdling 127ft head-first inverted drop followed by a horrifying series of near misses and inversions as you're whisked through the devastated remains of the world you once knew. Do you have what it takes to accept this perilous mission?

Be one of the first to experience SWARMageddon.

Coming Spring 2012.

THORPE PARK Highlights:

  • SAW - Alive is an extreme year round live action horror maze featuring iconic and fear-inducing scenes from the gut-churning series of SAW films!
  • The unforgettable Stealth. Lightning fast - though it seems like it lasts just a heartbeat, the rush stays with you forever.
  • A firm favourite in the office has to be Nemesis Inferno. Inspired by the classic ride at Alton Towers, Inferno is the original Nemesis' evil twin brother.
  • Colossus has to make an appearance as well. The last of the Unholy Trinity, Colossus has no fewer than 10 hair-raising loop-the-loops.
