Scarefest 13 and 14 October and 19 Oct - 1 November 2012
Prepare for some scares at Alton Towers Resort this Halloween, with light-hearted spooks for little ones plus spine-chilling frights for thrill-seekers. Brave the rides after dark as the Park stays open until 9pm — are you brave enough to take on Nemesis, Oblivion, Air, Rita or the world's first free fall drop rollercoaster TH13TEEN? Dare to discover Nemesis Sub-Terra, new for 2012, a subterranean experience filled with psychological and physical thrills. Expect the unexpected!

Fireworks 2 - 4 November 2012
Witness the end of the season with a bang at the Alton Towers Resort Fireworks Event this November. Open every night until 9pm, you can take on the thrill-rides after dark and enjoy the ultimate fireworks display that starts from 7pm.

Alton Towers Resort Highlights:

  • Sharkbait Reef by SEALIFE, a thrilling mission of discovery beneath the wreckage of the galleon in Mutiny Bay in the company of captain Black and his swashbuckling crew. Discover the underwater world and meet a host of fascinating creatures from the world's oceans.
  • Cloud Cuckoo Land, a soft and colourful paradise for younger guests, featuring live entertainment, characters to meet and greet, loads of fun-packed indoor soft play activities and a great range of rides for little ones to enjoy.
  • The Towers and Gardens offer a pleasant retreat and somewhere to enjoy a bit of good old fashioned British sunshine.
  • Nemesis is an oldie but a goodie. This ride pulls in the crowds so be prepared to queue for a while. It's well worth the wait when you get hit by more than four Gs moments after take off.
