A Chinese community of little people have turned their village into a theme park, according to The Sun newspaper.
The little people reportedly set up their village after suffering discrimination at the hands of "big people". Seeking to escape the prejudices of mainstream society, the little people came together and founded a private mountain commune from which anyone over 4ft 3ins tall was banned.
The community has its own fire brigade and police service but recently residents have been seeking alternative employment, as fairy tale-costumed theme park staff.
The village has been transformed into a tourist attraction complete with mushroom houses and little people in fairy costumes meeting and greeting visitors.
Fu Tien, the community's spokesman said: "As small people we are used to being pushed around and exploited by big people. But here there aren't any big people and everything we do is for us."
