A survey, which took place at Legoland Windsor, has revealed that visiting a theme park can be good for your health.
Willing participants were asked to wear a pedometer to track how far they walked while visiting the Park.
It was revealed guests took more than 10,400 steps, the equivalent of five miles and enough to burn up 500 calories. Distance travelled was three times the recommended daily amount of physical activity adults being advised to take 30 minutes of moderate activity per day.
Vicky Brown, General Manager at Legoland said: We have more than 55 rides and attractions set in over 70 acres of landscape and we are very happy to dispel the myths of unhealthy days out at a theme park.
