LEGO has partnered with reality television producer Scott Messick to develop a new reality show.

Messick is said to be developing several different types of brand-related reality shows including docu-series, competition shows and kid-oriented gaming.

This move into television is part of LEGO's brand expansion which includes a live-action movie, currently in development at Warner Brothers.

Messick, the executive producer behind Cartoon Network's Destroy Build Destroy, spent time learning the fandom surrounding LEGO so that he could shape the television shows accordingly.

He will, therefore, begin developing a docu-series about the three LEGO Masters, who travel the world building massive sculptures out of the iconic plastic blocks. Messick is also said to be interested in creating a competition / elimination show which could take place at LEGOLAND.

The deal between Messick and LEGO will see any LEGO projects developed by Messick executively produced by him through his company Mess Media.
