Chester Zoo's Eastern Black Rhinoceros, Asani, celebrated his first birthday on Thursday with a special treat.
Asani celebrated his special day with a carrot, beetroot, banana and courgette cake made by his keepers.
The calf whose name is Swahili for rebellious has doubled in size since his birth on 29 October, 2008.
Asani was the first Black Rhino to be born at Chester Zoo in ten years. His birth was significant as Eastern Black Rhinos are an endangered species.
