A chocolate theme park is to open in Beijing next year.

Described as "a world chocolate dream park" the theme park will be located in the Olympic Green (where the Bird's Nest stadium is). Early reports suggest that the chocoholic's paradise will include five indoor pavilions and two outdoor sites stuffed full of mouth-wateringly chocolatey exhibits.

The theme park will apparently also feature life-sized, edible replicas of the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Army, made of chocolate. Several Swiss and Belgian chocolate-makers are reportedly interested in the project, although exact details on which confectionary-peddlers are involved remain unavailable.

Visitors to Beijing should be able to visit the park from January, 2010.
