LEGOLAND® Windsor have recently informed us that their all new park area is very near completion. The opening of Land of the Vikings has been one of the most hotly talked about topics for theme park fans this season, as it promises an all new river rapids ride - Vikings' River Splash, which has had £5 million worth of investment put into it..

The new river rapids ride is not all that this all new park area promises. Land of the Vikings replaced the Amazing Mazes section, so LEGOLAND have kept maze lovers happy by installing a Nordic themed hedged maze - Loki's Labyrinth.

We'll keep you up to date as to when this area does open - but it's thought to be within the weeks beginning the 6th or the 13th August. You've still got time to get your Viking costume!
