Sea Lions

The playful Sea Lions will entertain the crowds at the Sea Lion Show twice a day with a fun feeding show at Chessington Zoo.

There are currently three Californian Sea Lions at Chessington Zoo. They are a very common breed of 'pinniped' with males weighing up to 390 kg and growing up to 2.4 metres in length. Females are smaller, weighing around 110 kg and being 2 metres long.

The enclosure at Chessington Zoo is one of the most successful breeding colonies of Sea Lions in Europe, and twice daily (12 p.m. & 3 p.m.) the Sea Lions perform a fun show.
