Adventure Land

There's a taste for adventure in this aptly labeled area. There are two roller coasters that are suitable for all the family, whilst you can also pedal your way through the treetops.

Cred Street

Head down to Cred Street and be greeted by a happy area filled with live shows and rides all aimed at younger children. Home to a rather large factory that has featured in a very famous film and children's book!

Forbidden Valley

This area is home to two of Alton Towers' most famous rides - a roller coasting duo that is up there with some of the world's top coasters. There's also the incredible setting for two other thrill rides - a post apocalyptic landscape, featuring one big bad alien creature that's forcing its way to the surface from a huge ravine!

Gloomy Wood

A spooky time awaits you in the dark recesses of the Gloomy Wood. Battle against evil in a ghost train ride with a difference, or take a creepy walk through to the Forbidden Valley.

Katanga Canyon

The crags of this mighty canyon are home to two family rides. Within the abandoned mines lies a disused mine cart track, converted into a family roller coaster. Meanwhile, the river that runs at the base of the canyon is known for its white waters and speeding currents!

Merrie England

A splendid English disposition awaits you in Merrie England - the celebration of all things that are in our green and placid lands. Boil up a fine English brew on a theme park classic, or get a soaking on like with the British weather on the log flume ride!

Old MacDonald's Farmyard

A little land of farming frolics. The kids will be thrilled by all of the animals at Old MacDonald's farmyard, which also provides the little ones with a selection of great rides and attractions.

The Towers and Gardens

An area home to both natural and man made beauty, with the epic Towers themselves and the extensive gardens area. But wait - something supernatural lurks beneath!

Towers Street

The area where your Alton Towers adventure begins! Take a stroll down the welcoming street, complete with shops and eateries, and head off into the park beyond.

UG Land

There's all sorts of prehistoric shenanigans to be had in this Jurassic aged area. Soar around like a Pterosaur, or travel faster than a velociraptor on Alton Towers' newest roller coaster!

X-Sector

Journey through a black hole and find yourself in uncharted space. This sector has rides more wild than a space rocket launch, including the world's first vertical drop roller coaster!

Mutiny Bay

Mutiny Bay is the most recent and exciting addition to the Alton Towers Resort. On thing's for certain, this new pirate-themed land will definitely separate the landlubbers from the old sea dogs! With fantastic rides and breathtaking pirate shows, Mutiny Bay is a must for Alton Towers visitors.
