Alton Towers to Ban Smartphones
Alton Towers is running a pilot scheme aimed at bringing the family closer together: banning parents from using smartphones and PDAs in the park.

Splash Battle in 2008
Alton Towers have confirmed their first new ride for the 2008 season. The new ride has been named Battle Galleons, and is set to replace the pay per play Splash Kart Challenge.

Ride Rumours
Alton Towers have announced that they hope to open a new family orientated wooden roller coaster for the 2008 season.
